SARNSARD is a Thai-woven craft-based design studio with a deep fascination for traditional wisdom crafts. The studio places a strong emphasis on the use of natural materials, particularly ‘Pandanus’—a coastal plant from the palm family known for its soft touch, flexibility, durability, water resistance, and resistance to mold.

SARNSARD has revived a once-lost traditional weaving technique known as the ‘Mad Weave,’ a complex pattern that had long been abandoned by artisans. To preserve and expand this craft, the studio established a local Muslim artisan team in Trang province, focusing on education and training to create a model for artisan development.
