

Yothaka is a furniture brand founded by master designer Suwan Kongkhunthian.
Suwan grew up in Chiang Mai, where he developed a keen appreciation of traditional culture and craftsmanship that flourish there. After graduating from silpakorn university faculty of Decorative arts in Bangkok in 1970. He worked in Saudi Arabia and Singapore before returning to Thailand, to focus on making craft furniture.









In 2024, Yothaka has teamed up with Kalm Village for a furniture exhibition “Color Lives” at MoM (Museum of Maker). The exhibition presents series of chairs that have many facets and no boundaries – where colors add identity and life to make each chair unique.
